Royal
Ref. AY-01·R · One of 100, numbered
The full carved field. Midnight blue engraved edge to edge in stepwell vinework, applied fleur indices, and a framed date rosette at six.
Adalaj · 1499 · Five storeys down
Above ground, Gujarat is forty degrees of white glare. Five storeys below, in the stepwell, it is fifteen and dim and carved on every surface. AYANTRA was designed down there. Keep scrolling — the light goes with you.
II
The Screen
Nothing reaches the lower storeys unbroken. Every beam passes a jaali first — a stone lattice cut so fine the sun comes through as pattern rather than light. That is the whole idea behind an AYANTRA dial. We do not decorate a surface. We decide what the light must pass through before it reaches your eye.
Motif 01
The OctagonAdalaj's shaft is an octagon, not a circle — eight faces stepping down through five floors. It is the frame around every dial we draw, and the shape you are falling through right now.
Motif 02
The VineCarved leafwork runs the full descent, never once repeating. It became our hand profile and the frame around the date aperture on the Adalaj reference.
Motif 03
The WaterAt the bottom, a still octagonal pool. Flat, dark, reflective — the reference for our midnight blue dial and the reason two of three pieces carry no ornament at all.
III
The Collection
One 40 mm gold-tone case, one Japanese automatic calibre. What changes is how much of the stepwell survived the descent onto the dial — and one of them takes three times the tooling to make.

Ref. AY-02 · Core collection
The same blue, stripped to structure. A minute track of open crescents, applied batons, and a single ornamented date rosette as the only flourish.

The Maker
A question that would not leave: why does a country with this much ornamental history import all of its watch design? So I started at the stepwell, learned dial printing the slow way — pad press, ruined plates, a hundred rejected proofs — and am building the maison one reference at a time, openly, in front of the people who will wear it.
Every dial we ship is a piece of Gujarat that happens to keep time.
